Vintage Yachting Club Partners with the Ocean House

andreyale20drawings3Classic yacht charter services will be offered in collaboration with the luxury Victorian-era resort.

“This is a unique opportunity to serve one of the most storied and distinctive resorts on the East Coast,” said Eric Dahler, VYC’s founder and Managing Partner. “We are honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Ocean House in providing a natural combination of classic yachting with this stunning, Victorian-era retreat.”

The Ocean House, one of New England’s last grand hotels, will re-open its doors in June 2010 after a $140 million rebuild and restoration. The 136-year-old property, originally built just after the Civil War, is perched high on the bluffs in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

In addition to yacht charter services and offerings VYC and Ocean House will collaborate on events that will bring participating yachts to Watch Hill for receptions and harbor cruises, as well as events that support local charities.
