Supreme Court rules for Tiverton Yacht Club

eastbayri.com – TIVERTON – The Rhode Island Supreme Court dealt a blow last week to opponents of the Tiverton Yacht Club who have objected to the club’s marina operations.
In a decision handed down Sept. 15, the full Supreme Court stayed an April Superior Court decision by Newport Associate Superior Court Justice Melanie Thunberg that prohibited the club’s marina and mooring activities on the waterside of Riverside Drive opposite the club’s property on the uphill side of the road.
