Gwaihir, a Class 40 sailboat owned by Newporter Stuart Williams, ran aground in heavy fog about 3 a.m. Thursday, as Mr. Williams and two crew members were sailing her to Newport from Virginia. She had been laid up in Key West for the winter after having withdrawn from a planned appearance in the Global Ocean Challenge. Full story EastBayRI.com
I am sure we will hear more details tomorrow at the Class 40 seminar being held in Newport
