Maine builder gets 4 boat contract

ibinews.com – US boatbuilder Morris Yachts has won a contract to build four Leadership 44 training vessels for the US Coast Guard (USCG) Academy. The new 13m (44ft) vessels, designed by US naval architect David Pederick, will replace the USCG’s old Luders sailing craft. Construction will begin later this year.
